Svanängen and Stålhberg.
A week ago I was at an amazing concert with Emil Svanängen, aka Loney Dear. Together with him on stage was Malin Ståhlberg, Junekvintetten, John Bauers Brass and Mats Olsson. The concert hall was packed with an enthusiastic crowd.
This concert was a part of a tour within Jönköping County called “Svanängen on Tour”.
I was in such a hurry for the concert that I forgot to bring my “big” DSLR camera. Kind of funny, but thank God, my small camera was in my pocket!

At the end of August I went some 100 km south of Jönköping, to attend a a concert at Lekaryd Church, outside Alvesta. Linda Pettersson, an amazing jazz singer and artist, together with fantastic guitarist Krister Jonsson were performing. This was one of the better concerts I ever been to!

Christina Gustafsson and Mathias Algotsson Trio are doing a series of concerts in my area of Sweden, and today they were in Huskvarna. It was a fantastic concert and the crowd loved it!
Loney Dear: Emil Svanängen, Malin Ståhlberg
This evening Loney Dear had a concert in my home town Jönköping, which also is the town in which Emil Svanängen was born and raised. So he was back to the roots so to speak.
Tonight Loney Dear consisted of Emil Svanängen and Malin Stålhberg. They played mostly songs from the latest record Hall Music. Live shows with Loney Dear are creative and interesting, since you are not sure how the different songs are performed in comparison how it sounds like on the record! A song I heard for the first time on a concert was What Have I Become; a truly wonderful version! Check out it on Spotify!
To sum it up, a brilliant concert and the audience loved it!

Yesterday evening I was at a lovely concert with the Swedish pop act Jennie Abrahamson. This particular evening she was performing together with Junekvintetten, a string quintet. A great combo indeed!
During lunch, I went by bicycle to the Culture House Spira and its fine restaurant; I was craving a nice cup of macchiato! To my dismay, I discovered that the restaurant and its bar lacks a proper coffee machine! What a scandal!

Äntligen var jag, med några goda vänner, på konsert i kulturhuset Spira! Vilken bra konsert, vad många glada människor, vilken härlig stämning och vilket vackert kulturhus! Jag är superpositiv!
I was on a wonderful Christmas concert today with some friends at the new Culture House Spira in Jonkoping. Very nice concert hall, where you see and hear well; wonderful acoustics!
