2nd Advent with snow
This weekend 2nd Advent, the winter has reached my part of the world! I like it a lot, but unfortunately the weather forecast indicates temperature above zero the coming days. That’s not positive for a person like me who wants to go skiing. Anyway, the snowfall especially today, forced me to do a lot of snow shovelling which is a good training.

Lunch at Apolonas
When you arrive to this little village in the north of Naxos during summer time, the taverns by the harbour is packed with people. Some of the arrives with bus, doing a tour around the island.
When arrived 13 of April, I started to hesitate if any of the taverns was open. No one of them seem to be ready for guests. Anyway, the last one in the bay was open, Captain Michalis café, and I could have a lovely Greek salad, looking at the calm water of the small harbour.
Apolonas and the third kouros
My last day on Naxos I thought to myself: “Why not go to Apolonas for lunch!”. After a few hours I was standing above Apolonas and looking at the third an most large kouros that exist in the Naxos landscape. This is unfinished and abandon at the marble quarry as the other two.
